LONDON, Ky. (WKYT) - An innovative dairy facility will be coming to Laurel County.

The governor's office says Kentucky Dairy Product Innovations will open a dairy processing plant in London.

The plant will develop a low-calorie, lactose-free skim milk produced from Kentucky cows.

State leaders say the company plans to hire 20 employees for the plant.

It's expected to be open by the end of the year.
