LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - University of Kentucky officials say no one was injured when a large chandelier fell at the William T. Young Library Friday.
They say the chandelier was undergoing some maintenance when it fell from the ceiling in the fifth floor rotunda.
There was no structural damage to the library.
UK officials say the library remains open, but the fifth floor rotunda and the second floor reading room have been closed off until the chandelier can be cleaned up.
There's no word on exactly what caused the chandelier to fall.
