Rowan County Case Goes To The Jury

It's now up to a jury to decide whether a Florida man is guilty of killing a Rowan County man.

Closing arguments wrapped up in James Conn's murder trial Wednesday morning, and the case went to the jury early Wednesday afternoon.

Police say Conn shot and killed Timmy Riggs last year in Morehead. Investigators say Conn and his wife, Katherine, thought Riggs was responsible for their son's death who overdosed on drugs.

Katherine Conn plead guilty to a complicity charge earlier this year.

I am so sorry for the pain these parents have gone through. To lose a child has to be the hardest thing to deal with. To lose them this way is even worse. But to take the law into their own hands is another story. I know the Bible speaks of and eye for an eye but shouldn't we leave that up to the legal system?

Well I guess that just about everyone is getting fed up with drug dealers,Even thou taking the law into ones own hands is never a good idea,I can still see the point of the Mom & Dad who lost a son..
