Guilty Plea In Deadly Crash Case

A truck driver charged with murder in a deadly crash has entered a guilty plea.

Police say Paul Neto was under the influence of methamphetamines and marijuana when he crossed the center line of U.S. 421 in Franklin County, slamming into a van driven by Leslye Robertson.

She died at the scene.

Commonwealth's Attorney Larry Cleveland says Neto pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of second degree manslaughter. In exchange, he will not be allowed to ask for probation.

Prosecutors are recommending 20 years. Neto will be sentenced in October.

Prosecutors are recommending 20 years! Why not give him 20 days to get his life right with GOD, and then hang him. This way we will know that he will not do it again. It will also be a good message to others that take drugs.
