Mother Accused Of Killing Her Son Pleads Not Guilty

A Harlan County woman accused of killing her son pleads not guilty.

Mary Gibbs is charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence in connection with the death of her son, Steve Harris Senters the Third, back in February.

Gibbs is accused of putting a morphine patch on her son's back causing his death.

Gibbs told WYMT earlier this month it was her son's drug problem that led to his death.

She remains in jail on a $500,000 bond.

She'll be back in court in October.
