"Wesley's Place", a soon to be built community center honoring a murdered child, is getting a helping hand.

A Winchester motorcycle club is donating $5,000 to the foundation. "Wesley's Place" board members say that money will help a lot. Since the beginning of the year the foundation has raised about $50,000 and received numerous building material donations. It's hoped construction on the community center can begin as early as September.

"Wesley's Place" is being constructed on the site where 6-year-old Wesley Mullins was found murdered. A house used to stand there, but has been torn down.

This is great that they are doing this in memory of this child. No child needs to be mistreated, murdered or left in a hot car to die a defenseless way. Keep up the good work, God Bless!

Since a "motorcycle club" is making the contribution, to an extremely worthy cause, would it not be appropriate for WKTY to at least recognize the club name for their support?
