Showers and thunderstorms Tuesday morning led to dangerous driving conditions in parts of Kentucky. Police say the wet roads are the cause several serious accidents.
A crash in Pulaski County north of Somerset left a car wedged in some trees in a heavily wooded area.
Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to rescue the driver.
Police say the weather is partly to blame for the crash.
The driver was taken to the Somerset hospital. Her condition isn't known.
This wasn't the only crash in Pulaski county Tuesday morning. Police say there was a head on crash on Highway 90 as well south of Somerset.
At least one person was hurt in that accident.
