Lexington police say they have arrested one of three people who've been breaking into Lexington churches.

Surveillance cameras at a gas station captured the burglary suspects.

Police say they burglarized Christ Centered Church, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and Immanuel Baptist Church, along with The Big Blue Bird Early Childhood Center.

They're all located on Eastland Parkway.

Police think the same men are also responsible for a burglary attempt early Thursday morning at Lexington United Baptist Church on Rockwell Road.

The thieves damaged a storage area in the back of the church but were scared off by a burglar alarm.

Investigators have not yet released the name of the person charged in the case.
