Quilt Snatched From Park Display

It came as a surprise for Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park managers and visitors when a quilt display that hung for years disappeared.

The colorful quilt, also referred to as a "crazy quilt," is valued at $2000 and was made specifically for the park by a Frankfort artist.

Park visitors say the quilt has been an important symbol of Kentucky culture and considered an art form.

Park managers nothing like this has ever happened to them before. They have launched an investigation, but they say their goal is just to get the quilt back. Park managers say they're more interested in having it back, than in prosecuting the person who stole it.
