Some of the best local restaurants and caterers served up their most popular menu items in downtown London this Saturday.

The Taste of London gives locals a chance to sample food from restaurants they may have never sampled before. The event was near the finish line for bicyclists finishing up their ride from the Tour de London, giving them a taste of London, too.

Manager of the Crooked Creek Restaurant Alex Hernandez says, "I tell you what, it was wonderful. It was just wonderful, I can't tell you enough for friendly everyone's been to us."

Organizers say the event was a success. Alex Hernandez says they prepared for about 300 people, but they nearly ran out of food.
