One man is dead after a horrible accident Saturday afternoon during the biggest event of the year on Lake Cumberland.

An officer with Kentucky Fish And Wildlife says a boat was taking off on the Poker Run, when it immediately wrecked.

47-year old Kevin Robert Sellers of Indianapolis killed, his passenger Richard Craig was rushed to a Russell County Hospital,but has since been released.

The race was cancelled Saturday.
