Boy Recovering From Serious Burns

A five-year-old boy, seriously burned while playing with friends, will under-go surgery on Monday.

Caleb Farris was with a group of children in Russell County, who were playing with a water bottle full of accelerant last week.

Another boy got scared and threw the flaming bottle, which landed on top of Farris. He suffered second and third degree burns on the face and chest.

Family Members tell 27 NEWSFIRST that Farris has been transferred to Shriner's Hospital in Cincinnati, where he's in the burn unit. We're told he still has a breathing tube and is heavily sedated.

Don't you really have to ask yourself where this kids' parents are?! How did they get ahold of a bottle of accelerant?! I have three small children myself and I know it's hard to always be on your guard, but this shouldn't have happened. I hope that he recovers and I will be praying for him.
