Kentucky Sailor Among Victims Remembered At Pentagon

A special memorial is being dedicated Thursday to the dozens who died at the Pentagon 7 years ago. One of those victims was a young Kentucky sailor.

His family will be at the Pentagon for the unveiling of that memorial.

Naval First Class Petty Officer Edward Earhart was the first reported victim of the terror attack on the Pentagon.

Earhart, originally from Morehead, was not scheduled to be on duty September 11, 2001 but came in to train another sailor.

There is a memorial in his honor in Morehead.
