Mother Not Charged In Child's Death

A mother, whose baby died in a hot car last month, will not face charges.

Prosecutors didn't give an immediate reason why they decided not to charge Doctor Jodie Edwards but plan to release more details Thursday afternoon.

Cincinnati police say Edwards left her 11-month-old daughter, Jenna, in a hot car outside her office at Cincinnati Christian University.

Edwards said it was an accident, claiming she just forgot to drop off the child at daycare.

i personally think its a crock because she didn't get charged. If it had been me or you we would have got charged. What is up with this. Crazy. I guess it shows if you have money or who you are you can get away with murder.

MONEY TALKS, MONEY TALKS.. Just goes to show, who you are makes a difference. I personally would not want this woman treating me, heck she forgets her own child, no telling what else Medically she can forget. Heck the child was 11 months old, it isn't like she was newborn and the routine was all new to the mother, and in my opinion that wouldn't be an excuse either.

This is very sad that it happened but what everyone needs to remember is that God did not put you all here to judge. She will have her judgement day and whether this was an accident or not, God will be the one to decide NOT you all.

How in the world do you forget about your child being in the car with you? If this was me I would be on my way to jail, but since she a doctor I guess thats acceptable. She should be punished as the same as everone that has killed there children! The judge should have put her in jail like all the other people that have killed there child! If that was me, that left my child in the hot car they would not think the first time they would took me on to jail right then. She is just like we are. It really make me sick that someone like her would kill there child and get off scott free.

How in the world do you forget about your child? I mean, if this was me I would be going to prison, but since she was a doctor I guess it is acceptable. She should be punished double for being a doctor! Shame on her and the judge for letting her run free!
