Food Prices: Getting Less Bang for Your Buck

You can add the price of food to the list of things rapidly rising in price.
Since food producers are also suffering from high gas prices, they are making key changes to their products.

Such companies as Kraft and General Mills are using cheaper ingredients in their products, but keeping the price the same.

Others, such as candy bar makers Hershey and Mars, have raised their prices by at least ten percent twice this year.

Some McDonald's are even putting only one slice of cheese on a double cheeseburger to cut costs and Burger King is testing a smaller Whopper Jr.

The biggest problem besides gas prices is no matter what happens the food and gas prices will stay high- oh in a few days the price of gas might drop a few cents and Bush will be on T.V WITH THAT SMILE OF HIS TELLING US HOW GOOD WE HAVE IT!! THEN HE WILL GET ON AIR FORCE ONE AND TAKE OFF TO ANOTHER COUNTRY AND TELL THEM HOW MUCH MONEY THE UNITED STATES IS GOING TO GIVE THEM TO HELP THEM OUT OF THEIR PROBLEMS -- WELL HE NEVER HAS HELPED THE UNITED STATES OUT OF OUR PROBLEMS -- SO US WORKING FEW KEEP WORKING SO HE CAN GET ON T.V AND TELL US HOW GOOD THE ECONOMY IS!!!

One of the most exspensive sandwiches the fish sandwich at mcdonalds has always only had a half of a slice of cheese. Thats one of the reasons I will never eat there. The other being theres nothing natural about their food its all processed beans or animal feed.

Oh! For the love of greed! And these guys don't think we know what they are doing to us. When you look into the eyes of anything you are killing, it will haunt you for the rest of your life, maybe someday these fat cats who are killing us will feel a spook up their backs!
