Man Faces 189 Year Prison Sentence

A Leslie County man is sentenced to 189 years in prison!

In May, 36-year old George Clark of Stinnett was found guilty of several charges.

Officials say he was a leader of a group that impersonated Operation UNITE officials and committed several robberies in Leslie, Perry, and Laurel Counties.

Clark must also pay a 25-thousand dollar fine.

I was friends with George Clark for most of my life he had alot of good in him I just hate that he has no chances left to turn his life around but you can murder someone and have chances.

I can not believe that for impersonating unite gets a 189 sentence?? What about all these drug lords that are corrupting our children, destroying our families, they get a couple months or a year tops! Funny thing to me that the other "charges" are not posted. Whats the deal.
