Arrests Made In Connection To Pulaski County Robbery

Two Somerset men are arrested after an overnight robbery at a Somerset convenience store.

Police say 33-year-old Robert Aaron Hammonds and 32-year-old Gary Steven Lee Hansford were arrested Monday night after a report that a man wearing a mask had gone into the Lakeway Shell with a handgun and demanded cash.

Officials say the employee complied and was able to give police a description of the suspects.

Police later arrested the two men during a traffic stop on Hacker Road.

Hansford is charged with robbery in the 1st degree, and Hammonds is charged with complicity to robbery.

Both men were taken to the Pulaski County Detention Center.
