Woman Will Not Receive Shock Probation

A woman who pleaded guilty to plotting to rob and kill her late boyfriend's grandmother is denied shock probation.

Letcher County Circuit Judge Sam Wright refused to let Kyla Bellis out of prison early.

As part of her plea agreement, Bellis is serving 15 years.

She agreed in that deal not to seek shock probation and that's one reason why her request was denied.
