Officials with PRIDE presented awards for efforts in cleaning up part of eastern Kentucky.
Judge Executive Denny Ray Noble accepted a spring cleanup award on behalf of Perry County. PRIDE officials say it's the fourth year in a row Perry County had more volunteers participate than any other community.
Karen Engle, president and CEO of Pride says, "Well, this spring cleanup, we had 2,195 volunteers. They worked almost 11,000 hours right here in Perry County alone."
