As cleanup continues around the state, officials in Grant County are hoping to soon have their power completely restored.
It's been a busy few days throughout the state as crews continue to work around the clock, trying to get power on for thousands of people.
Many people have spent their week cleaning up, and places that were open while many were in the dark are now running out of batteries, flashlights, and lanterns.
Owen Electric has customers in portions of nine counties and around 28,000 of them were initially without power. They've spent the last few days trying to restore what they can, and say they now have fewer than 1,000 homes without power.
They say this is one power problem that doesn't happen often, and is one for the history books, ranking among some of the top outages they've had.
