Somerset Family Searching For Loved One

An eastern Kentucky family is pleading for your help in finding their loved one who left an assisted living facility, and hasn't been seen for two weeks.

David Gibson left Messner's Care Facility in Lexington September 4th. His family is from Somerset. They say Gibson suffers from schizophrenia. He was last seen in Hardin County, when his family says he walked into the Sheriff's office, saying he was trying to get to Louisville to find his sister. Thinking he was homeless, the department sent him to an organization to help him by a ticket and to a shelter where he could stay.

Family members say they don't know if Gibson ever made it to Louisville. Officials fear he could be just about anywhere.

I am 99% sure I saw this man in front of Hardees in (Downtown) Corbin KY Saturday morning Sept. 20, he appeared to be homeless and was carrying a black bag sort of like a book bag. My heart goes out to this family and I will pray that he is found safe, May god bless you all.
