Kentucky Education Commissioner Suffers Stroke

Doctors have re-diagnosed the condition that caused the State Education Commissioner to fall ill.

Doctors now say John Draud had a minor stroke.

At first, Draud was told he had a virus.

The Education Commissioner got checked out after he had trouble walking after falling in his home.

Draud is working from home while he recovers and has designated deputy commissioner Elaine Farris to act in his absence if needed.

Glad he's alright. He remains in our prayers.
