Woman Found Days After Crash

A woman was trapped after her car crashed down an embankment. She was rescued Tuesday night. The rescue came two days after the crash.

Menifee County dispatchers tell NEWSFIRST someone passing by spotted the wreckage around 5:00 Tuesday night on a rural road off of Kentucky 77. That's in the Red River Gorge area.

Emergency crews didn't know anyone was alive until they repelled down to the crash scene.

The driver was found alive several feet from her car. She's been identified as Darlene Morse. Police say when they found her, she was in a confused state of mind and dehydrated.

She was taken to the University of Kentucky Hospital where she's listed in fair condition.

Police are still investigating where she was going and how she crashed.

    thank god that they found her before it was to late and that she is in the hospital in fair condition. she is so lucky and has to know that the god all mighty has a special job for her thought it may be years from now before she knows what thank god she is alive by his grace and love. my prayers go out to her
