The numbers are in and prices took a big drop this year for the annual September yearling sale at Keeneland.

The sale wrapped up Tuesday.

Average prices fell more than 15 percent, compared to last year. The number of horses sold also took a big drop.

But Keeneland officials say overall sales totaled nearly 328 million dollars, which made this the fourth highest grossing September sale ever.
