A leading fast food company is taking the guess work out of calorie counting.
Kentucky based Yum Brands incorporated is now putting calorie information on the menu boards of all its U.S. restaurants.
The company which owns KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and others said they are encouraging all of their franchisees to do the same.
Yum has about 20,000 U.S. restaurants.
Some 4,000 are company owned.
They hope the move will help push for federal legislation requiring all restaurants to do the same.
