They've waited months for this moment.

On Wednesday, the family of a 16-year-old severely burned in a fire is celebrating his return home.

Timothy "Tiger" Desjadon has been in the hospital since May.

He received burns over 50 percent of his body, while trying to escape a fire inside his home.

On Wednesday, he was released from Shriner's Hospital in Cincinnati, and returned home to Winchester.

His family and friends celebrated with a welcome home party.

While he may be out of the hospital, doctors say Desjadon will still continue his physical therapy from home.

I am so glad Timothy, or 'Scotty' as I called him alog with many others, is finally home. I was in middle school and Freshmen year with him and he was so cool. He was always talking to everyone he saw, and was always so respectful. When I first heard about the fire, I couldn't believe it. I didn't think something like that could happen to such a good kid, but it did, and he fought through it. My prayers are with 'Scotty' and the Desjadon family. God bless you all.
