Several McCreary County Families To Benefit From Energy Grants

The dream of owning an energy efficient home will soon become a reality for several families in McCreary County.

More than $360,000 is awarded to the Kentucky Housing Corporation for construction or rehabilitation of six energy-efficient homes.

The money comes from USDA's Rural Development Program and HUD. The funds will be used to help local residents who would otherwise have few opportunities to find high quality, affordable housing.
