Lexington Police Arrest Chase Suspect

A man faces several charges in Lexington after running from police.

It all started when the suspect didn't pull over for an ambulance early Thursday morning on Tates Creek Road.

An officer took note of the traffic violation and immediately began to follow the driver.

The driver turned onto Appian Crossing Way, crashed into a dumpster then ran from the vehicle.

Police later arrested the suspect after chasing him on foot.

Police aren't releasing the suspect's name.

They say they're not sure if the name he gave them is real.

Officers say he didn't have an I.D. on him at the time of his arrest.
