A man hit by a car while walking his dog is still in the hospital.

47-year-old Ricky Young is listed in critical condition at U.K. Hospital. Police say he was walking his dog across Harrodsburg road, near Turfland Mall on Saturday night, when he was hit. The driver was not hurt, but the dog was killed. Police do not expect to file any charges.
