Bank officials warn of scam in Floyd County.

Officials at First Commonwealth Bank in Prestonsburg say people were called Sunday afternoon by someone trying to get debit and credit card information.

The solicitor told callers that their bank card was suspended and the card number was needed to reactivate.

Officials say banks would never contact customers this way.

If you gave a caller this information, you should contact your bank immediately.
