A crash on Tates Creek Road caused a big traffic mess for commuters in Lexington Tuesday morning.

Just before 7:30 an Explorer headed out of town was trying to turn left onto Man O'War Boulevard and pulled into the path of a black Blazer.

The driver of the Explorer thought the Blazer was stopping. Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

That scene has since been cleaned up.

This is one of the most dangerous intersections in Lexington. People are going 50-60 MPH through here.
