Gas Prices Falling In KY

Gas prices are falling. In fact, these are the lowest prices we've seen in Lexington in six months.

Most stations are selling at around $3.25 a gallon. Some are even lower.

People in Frankfort are really seeing some good deals. Gas prices there are around $3.09 a gallon.

AAA says the national average price for a gallon of gas is around 3.50 a gallon. That's down 61 cents a gallon from the record seen over the summer.

Someone had told me back in the Spring that gas would be down to $2.50 by the end of the year. They were right!! It's $2.43 in Harrodsburg!!

Wait until the election is over...then when Bush is a lame duck his cronies (aka the oil industry) will jack the prices right back up. This is just a tactic to try to get people to forget about the economy and how high everything is, which helps Republicans. It worked in 2004, but it won't work this time.

This will only last a short while so the automakers can sell those left over '08 trucks & SUV's. They have already sold all of the small cars, mopeds and scooters. Think about it.....

only reason that gas prices are coming down,is because bush and mccaine familys is letting it because of election time.If you all want gas to go back to 4.00 a gallon put mccaine in office and walstreet will be broke!!!!wiseup america and smell the coffee or we will be behind a plow like back in the old days.

Ok, gas prices have been low out west for quite some time, it is running about 2.93 in central Ohio right now and then I just read a post from someone in Pennsylvania about lower gas prices! She is right it's not the horses smelling in Kentucky! Most cities like Morehead and Somerset are above average! A little city like Olive Hill is cheaper than Morehead! What is the problem here?

Ummm...gas prices are still very high? Not quite time to start praising the Bush Administration for slightly lowering the sky-high gas prices. When they get back to $2.00 again, I'll be singing with that choir.
