Robbers Hit Gas Station

Lexington Police are trying to find two men who held up a gas station early Friday morning.

The robbers hit the Shell station on Nicholasville Road at Southland Drive.

One of the men had a semi-automatic handgun.

The second grabbed money from the register.

They forced the clerk onto the ground while they ran away.

The clerk described the men as hispanic wearing flannel shirts, jeans and bandanas over their faces.

The man who had the gun was about 6'0" tall.

The other one was about 5'6".

Police say there is surveillance video of the robbery.
