Sheriff's Son Is Going Back To Jail

A Johnson County man charged in a federal drug case is going back to jail after a judge says he violated the terms of his release.

Hoy Curtis Witten, 35, was out of jail on bond and waiting for his trial, but a judge says he violated a condition for his release and he was taken back into custody.

Witten pleaded not guilty in July to distributing methadone and cocaine.

Federal officials say Witten is Johnson County Sheriff Bill Witten's Son.

If the "sheriff of Johnson County" hadn't ignored his sons drug dealing, ordered his deputies to protect him and attempted to buffalo everyone in this county, maybe it would have stopped before it went this far. Good job sheriff Bill, you are exactly who I want protecting my family.

This guy is a bad egg and don't plan on seeing any changes soon, they raised him with a silver spoon.
