Heating Assistance Program Will Receive More Funds Than Originally Thought

Some good news for families who rely on heating assistance.

Kentucky plans to more than double the funding it gives through the low income home energy assistance program or LI HEAP.

The state will receive 68 million dollars in federal funds this year far more than the anticipated 30 million.

Community action agencies will distribute the funds to families needing assistance.

Community action agencies will begin taking applications for assistance November third.

    give our money to pay heating costs!! they need to check on the ones selling drugs and picking up pop cans since they are on the draw.

    A 60 million dollar give away for Post Office Democrats.I guess that means thier vote is bought and paid for HUH.
