Judge Withdraws From High Profile Case

The Bourbon County jailer and his chief deputy will have to wait a little longer answer to misconduct charges in court.

On Tuesday, the judge in the case of Tony Horn and Deputy Sandy Dotson recused himself from the case because he knows the suspects.

Both are charged with tampering with physical evidence and official misconduct. Investigators say they covered up details in the death of an inmate.

The two have stepped down from their jobs while the investigation continues.
