More Water Coming To Magoffin County

More people step forward to help a Kentucky community running low on water.

On Monday, Kentucky American drove a tanker of fresh water to Magoffin County.

We're told it's still about half full.

Now Save-A-Lot is also waiting for a shipment of water it plans to give away once it arrives in Salyersville.

Water officials say things are looking up for the county.

The water level on the Licking River was up about one foot on Tuesday.

We need more attention with this water shortage. I'm 14 years old in MCHS, and all the signs in the school near the water fountains say, "BOIL WATER ADVISORY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE". I'm sorry to say this but this news site has very little info and it's old. All the city water has so manny chemiclas in it that I heard that a woman was shaving her legs in the shower, and nicked herself, shae had city water, and her leg got infected. We need more attention with this subject, and the only thing you show on this site is, "Stripper Arrested for $62,000 Con" Please, we need more attention so the government will do something, we don't need any sewage water from the licking river, we need good water.

Thanks so much to everyone who is helping us out with our water problem. As many people here are doing i've been going and buying my water and its running into money but i'm afraid to use the water. Officals say to boil it befor you use it then it is safe to drink but to be honest with you i don't believe its even safe after that...It has an odor and sometimes weird dark color...I don't know if were ever gonna get outta of this.....So thanks for everything the help is so much appreciated...
