Police: Three Children Killed, Home Burned

A triple homicide investigation is underway after three children are found dead in the rubble of a burned-out home.

The flames broke out Wednesday night in Trigg county, near Fort Campbell.

State police identified the victims as 17-year-old Kayla Williams, 14-year-old Kortney Frensley and 5-year-old Ethan Frensley.

According to a Western Kentucky newspaper, the mother of the children survived the fire and was taken to a hospital.

An autopsy showed Kayla was the victim of a homicide. Autopsies on the other two victims are planned for Friday.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire and the causes of death.
