Accused Serial Bank Robber Indicted

A man accused of a string of bank robberies across the state has been indicted by a federal grand jury.

Jeffrey Pratt is charged with robberies at four banks in Harrison County, one in Robertson County and another in Pendleton County.

Those crimes happened between October of last year and this past August. Investigators say, in all, Pratt got away with about $36,000.

Pratt was arrested in August in Lexington.

The Cynthiana Democrat reports Pratt could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
