Police Search For Two Shooters In Latest Murder

A man is dead after being shot twice in the chest outside an apartment complex.

A large police presence was called to the Coolavin Apartments on West 6th Street in Lexington, shortly after 7:00 a.m.

Police found a man lying in the breezeway with gunshot wounds. He was transported to U.K. Hospital, where he died.

Witnesses on the scene told police they spotted two black men, wearing hoodies, flee the area in a light colored 4-door midsized car with a partial license plate of “M C”.

The victim's name has not been released.

    Big shock there. That is about the roughest most degenerate section of Lexington or possibly even Kentucky.
