Marshals Arrest Brother Of Mummified Woman

He's been on the run for weeks after living for months, police say, with his sister's dead body.

Late Tuesday night, U.S. Marshals found Timothy Brown in St. Louis, near where his car was found with Penny Brown's mummified body in the trunk.

Police say he was found sleeping outside a library in a park and didn't say much when he was taken into custody.

Police released new details about the case on Wednesday. Police now say they think Timothy Brown lived in an apartment with his sister's body and his young son for quite some time.

Investigators discovered Penny Brown's body in the trunk of Timothy Brown's car after it was towed back to Kentucky from St. Louis. They had received complaints that it had been on the street for several days.

Police say Brown checked his wheelchair-bound sister out of a nursing home in 2006. It isn't clear how she died.

Timothy Brown will be in court this week for an extradition hearing.

This guy actually was a single father raising a son who was abandoned by his mother at 6 months old. The nursing home is not admitting that they are the ones who made him check his sister out as soon as her bedsores were healed. The family that is acting so concerned now didn't even invite Tim, Penny, and his son(know his name but you don't need to) to Christmas or Thanksgiving at their homes. Both father and mother refused to care for Penny. They were too busy moving out of the country(mother) and adopting other peoples children(father). I think he made the mistake of leaving them home alone and something happened to her. The only thing I can see keeping him from admitting what happened was the thought of losing his son. With no help, I don't think he had much choice but to leave them home alone at times.

this is really sick how can someone do this to their own sister, or any other person for that matter. This man needs to suffer like she had too, even if she may have already been dead he should have reported it and let her rest in peace in stead he wanted money. he needs the death penalty if you ask me. my prayers go out to her family

All for some stupid money. Nice how your own blood will treat you. just think if people would do this to family then what would they be willing to do to others for money?!
