Former Judge Executive's Brother Is Facing More Charges

A former judge executive's brother, already facing federal prison time, is now facing more charges.

Federal officials arrested Matt Smith this week.

He's charged with felony possession of a firearm.

Smith is already facing 10 months in prison after pleading guilty to his role in a scheme to award construction contracts to firms controlled by Raymond Smith and his family.

The former judge executive is also facing federal prison time.

Matt Smith is due in court Friday.

    This family has been another in a line of disgraceful things that has happened to our county. I would hope the judge would send a message and send these 2 for jail for a long stay.
