Violent End To Search For Inmate

The search for an escaped inmate came to a violent end in Morgan County.

Police say Robin Maple showed up at the home where his ex-girlfriend Melissa Patrick was staying and took her at gun point.

Officials say he shot and killed Patrick before turning the gun on himself.

Police say if he survives the gun shot wound to the chest he will be charged with murder.

He's in BIG trouble either way from the sounds of it. If he lives, he's charged with murder and will go to the pen. If he dies, I'd say chances are, he'll probably not see Heaven........ That is unless he repented and accepted Christ before he pulled the trigger. I highly doubt it though.

Few days ago the victim sought protection from police. Morgan County has little to no services for battered women
