Woman Accused Of Helping An Inmate Escape From A Federal Prison Pleads Guilty

A woman accused of helping a man escape from the Big Sandy Federal Penetintiary in Martin County pleads guilty.

Investigators say Susan Witherspoon helped inmate Desmond Greene leave the prison last month.

Officials say she later came back to the prison several hours later asking for help because Greene was unresponsive in her car. He later died.

The cause of death is not determined.

Witherspoon entered the guilty plea in Pikeville Federal Court.

She will be sentenced December 16th.

    Let her go.Surely losing one prisoner. Won't cause too many useless judges, lawyers, and prison guards to loose too much money.
