Driver Arrested In Two-County Chase

A man is in jail facing a slew of charges after police say he led them on a chase through two counties early Wednesday morning.

It all started in Casey County when police tried to pull over Gregory McGowan, 45, for not having tail lights.

Police say he wouldn't pull over and led them west on Highway 70 before hitting a guardrail and turning around.

The chase went into Adair County where police were able to stop the car.

Police say McGowan was drunk, had marijuana with him and was driving on a suspended license.

another high speed police chase that ended in a tragic accident. Seems like they could've just grabbed his lic plate number and picked him up later without putting other, innocent people's lives in danger with a high speed, two county chase. Gotta love cowboy cops and the people that let 'em do it.
