Family Robbed At Gunpoint In Home Invasion

Georgetown Police are searching for clues in an early-morning home invasion where four gun-wielding robbers terrorized a family.

Police say the masked men forced their way into an apartment at the Overlook Apartment Complex on River Chase Path when one of the residents answered the door.

Three people were inside at the time.

They were held at bay and forced to give the robbers cash, prescription drugs and other valuables.

The thieves also stole a safe.

Three of the robbers had handguns. A fourth had a longer gun, possibly a shotgun, according to police.

Police say the robbers took off on foot.

One of the victims says she recognized one of the men.

Police arrested one man at the scene on unrelated charges, but police aren't sure if he has any connection to the crime.

Okay. Folks, get a peep hole for your doors. And if you look through it and see masked people knocking at the door. Don't open it!

I hope the Police catch these criminals and furthermore I hope th judicial system does what needs to be done. These criminals deserve LIFE in prison so they can't go out and do this again.
