Federal Express Delivery Man Is Arrested

Police arrest a Federal Express delivery man on charges he stole pills while making deliveries at a pharmacy.

State police arrested 36-year-old Frederick Whitaker at the Medicine Cabinet Pharmacy in Paintsville.

Troopers say he stole Percocet while making a delivery to another Johnson County pharmacy.

Investigators say they have proof.

“The fact is, there is videotaped evidence showing Mr. Whitaker in the process of taking the pharmaceuticals that he's been charged with,” Mike Goble, KSP, said.

State police believe Whitaker was selling the pills.

Troopers are investigating if he is involved in other similar pharmacy burglaries.

We requested a statement from Federal Express, but so far have not received one.

Yeah, I know, they do not make enough money. He did make enough to make a living though. Fed ex is the one that doesn't give their employee any health ins. or anything. That's insane

This is my family. No I'm not taking up for him but I know he wasn't thinking when he done this. I can't beleive that he did this. I would have never thought this of him. No one would have. WE all make choices that we have to live with. Some just make stupid ones. I know that he has lost a lot now, but we still have to be there for him no matter what. I know I will rather his family will or not.
