A woman who police say hit and killed a man at a Lexington intersection is indicted by a grand jury.

31-year-old John Vice was crossing Man O'War at Lyon Drive last year when a Porshe driven by 40-year old Sheila Whitler slammed into him. Whitler is now charged with manslaughter in the case.

She's due back in court next month.

Was this woman intoxicated or sober? If sober, how is it okay for her to be charged in this matter, but for Madison's grandmother not to be? Either way someone died.

Is this the instance where the driver left the man to die without stopping? If so, they need to get her for more than manslaughter.
