Many people are getting ready for one of the biggest shopping days of the year.

Not everyone is waiting for Black Friday.

Friday may be the big shopping day, but many people here at Middlesboro Mall Wednesday aren't waiting until then. They're getting jump on holiday sales that have already started.

The holiday shopping season is here.

In fact, many shoppers we talked to say they have been shopping for a while.

The manager of the Middlesboro Mall says he expects sales here to be much better than what's expected nationally.

Despite a couple stores in the process of closing, the space vacated by Dawahares, is already filling up.

The manager at Traditional Touch says there was still a need for UK apparel.

Many shoppers are getting what they can now, while others plan on coming back for more.

While many sales are already underway, WYMT’s Jeff Allen talked with several retailers at the Middlesboro Mall who say they'll be rolling out the big sales, the Doorbusters, early Friday Morning.
