Standoff Ends In Lexington

Lexington Police swarmed the corner of Cambridge and Chantilly Street around 10:00pm Wednesday in the Cardinal Valley neighborhood.

We're told the incident may have stemmed from a robbery that happened earlier in the night. Police believed the suspect was in the home and positioned themselves outside.

After a three hour wait police realized no one was inside the home.

The suspect has been identified as an hispanic, who had been arrested several times before. Since there is a Sanctuary police in Lexington, he was let loose. Maybe next time he'll kill.
